Research Interests

Optimizing Perovskite Carrier Lifetimes with Time Resolved Photoluminescence

Using time resolved photoluminescence (TRPL) we can measure carrier lifetimes of perovskite films. Greater carrier lifetimes result in better performing cells. Therefore, we can maximize carrier lifetimes of perovskite with TRPL by only making half cells. Using a Rapid Spray Plasma Perovskite system to deposit films, I work on optimizing deposition conditions of perovskite by maximizing carrier lifetimes and study the correlation between perovskite morphology and its carrier lifetime.
