My research will begin with synthesizing and further developing the group’s cost modeling of manufacturing processes for perovskite solar cells and LLZO battery electrolytes using rapid spray plasma processing (RSPP). This model helps guide research efforts in the direction of the steps in these processes which drive up the manufacturing costs the most, allowing us to optimize these processes for real-world applicability.
